Migrating your existing BotGhost account

BotGhost no longer supports signing in with Discord. To continue using your existing account, you'll need to migrate it for use with our new login methods.


Steps to Migrate

  1. Visit the BotGhost login page.
  2. If you're not already signed in, choose a sign in method and follow the prompts.
  3. Once you're redirected back to BotGhost, click the Existing BotGhost User button on the signup page.
  4. Copy your linking code.
  5. Join the linking server on Discord by clicking here (separate from the BotGhost Support Server), and navigate to the #link-account channel. 
  6. Click the Link Account button, and paste your linking code.
  7. Your BotGhost accounts are now linked, and you'll be able to see all your bots, settings, subscriptions and variables from your existing account!

Q: Do I have to link my old account?

A: No, you can create a new account instead by clicking the New BotGhost User button on the signup page instead.


Q: I don't have a BotGhost account yet, how do I create one?

A: You can create a new BotGhost account by clicking "New BotGhost User" on the "Welcome to BotGhost" page. For more information, read Creating a new BotGhost account.


Q: Can I log in with Discord?
A: No, BotGhost no longer supports logging in through Discord.

A: Follow the troubleshooting steps listed above. If you still have trouble linking your account, create a ticket on the BotGhost Help Center by clicking here.
