How to downgrade your subscription
You can downgrade your BotGhost subscription—whether it's Premium or Priority Hosting—via the Stripe or Chargebee self-service portal.
Steps to Downgrade
- Log in to your account on the BotGhost Dashboard.
- Navigate to a bot's Settings page and click the Manage Subscription button to access your subscription portal.
- Choose your subscription plan (Premium or Priority Hosting) and proceed to the customer portal (Stripe or Chargebee).
- In the portal, locate the option to downgrade your plan.
- Follow the prompts to confirm the downgrade. Your plan will change at the end of the current billing period, and you won't be billed again.
Important Information
Your subscription portal depends on purchase date:
Stripe Portal: Use for Priority Hosting subscriptions, and Premium plans purchased after March 15, 2025.
Chargebee Portal: Use for Premium plans purchased before March 15, 2025.
Downgrades take effect after your current billing period finishes. Your subscription remains active with current tier access until the billing cycle ends.
Downgrading disables automatic renewal on the next cycle—you won’t be charged again—but any unused time remains active until expiry.
