How to request bot deletion

You can request the deletion of any of your bots from BotGhost by creating a support ticket on BotGhost's Help Center.

Required Information

  • Create the ticket using the email associated with the bot's owner account.
  • Create the ticket under the Account > Request Bot Deletion category.
  • Include details on the specific bot you want to delete, including its Discord App ID.

Important Information

  • Bot deletion permanently deletes all of your bot's BotGhost configurations (commands, events, modules, etc.) and cannot be undone.
  • Note that deleting your bot on BotGhost will not remove it from Discord. You'll need to manually delete it from the Discord Developer Portal for it to be fully removed from Discord and all of its servers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I restore my deleted bot?
A: You can re-add the bot to your BotGhost Dashboard at any time, however all BotGhost configurations (commands, events, modules, etc.) will be permanently lost.

Q: Will this delete my bot from the Discord Developer Portal?

A: No. This process will only remove your bot from BotGhost and delete its associated data. Your bot will still exist and remain in all of its servers.

Q: What information does BotGhost need for bot deletion?
A: BotGhost requires that you create a ticket from the email that you registered your account with, and include any information on the bot you want deleted, including its Discord App ID.

Q: What if I don't have access to my old email?
A: Please follow the steps in the Unable to login to your account article to recover your account.
